At a glance: what sets these gummies apart

This collection brings together three individual gummies with different approaches, all with 60 gummies per pack and a serving of 2 gummies per day.

GummyWhat sets it apart (per 2-gummy serving)How to use
Probiotic GummiesA microbial culture complex (35 strains, including species of Lactobacillus, Bifidobacterium, Lactococcus, Leuconostoc, Streptococcus and Pediococcus) and a digestive enzyme complex (acid protease, amylase, lipase, lactase, cellulase, among others)Adults: chew 2 gummies per day, preferably after a meal
Appetite Control Gummies1000 mg apple cider vinegar, 80 mg pomegranate juice powder, 80 mg beetroot juice powder, vitamin B6 (1 mg; 71% NRV), folic acid (400 µg; 200% NRV), vitamin B12 (2.4 µg; 96% NRV) and iodine (100 µg; 67% NRV)Chew 2 gummies per day, preferably after a meal
Active Metabolism Gummies260 mg green tea extract, 250 mg garcinia, 250 mg raspberry ketone and 250 mg green tea seedAdults: chew 2 gummies per day, after a meal; do not take on an empty stomach

All three share a pectin base, with no gelatin, and are sweetened with maltitol — which means they contain polyols. If your goal is mainly digestive, the gummy with microbial cultures and enzymes is the most targeted; if you are looking for an ingredient studied in a metabolic context, the options with apple cider vinegar or green tea are a better fit. What the research says

Probiotics and intestinal transit. A meta-analysis of 15 randomised trials with 675 adults found a moderate reduction in intestinal transit time with probiotic supplementation, with a greater effect in people with constipation than without it 1. In a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial, 228 adults with functional constipation took Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis HN019 for 28 days; there were no significant differences in the primary outcomes, but in a later analysis of participants with fewer than three bowel movements per week, an increase in weekly frequency was observed 2. This shows that results depend heavily on the population studied.

Apple cider vinegar. A meta-analysis of 10 randomised trials with 789 adults with type 2 diabetes and/or excess weight found reductions in body weight, BMI and waist circumference with daily apple cider vinegar intake for at least 4 weeks 3. Another meta-analysis, with 25 trials and 1320 adults, found improvements in fasting blood glucose, HbA1c and total cholesterol, with no significant effects on BMI 4. The trials used varying doses; Appetite Control Gummies provide 1000 mg apple cider vinegar per 2-gummy serving. Study doses are not dosing instructions.

Green tea. A meta-analysis of 59 randomised trials with 3802 participants linked green tea extract supplementation to reductions in body mass, body fat percentage, BMI and markers of oxidative stress 5. At the same time, a systematic review of toxicological data and 159 human intervention studies identified the liver as the target organ and linked cases of liver toxicity to concentrated catechin preparations taken as a single high dose and on an empty stomach, deriving a level of intake considered safe of 338 mg EGCG per day for tea preparations ingested as a solid bolus dose 6.

Who it may suit — and who it may not

These gummies may suit adults who want to include a supplement in a simple daily routine, in an easy-to-chew format with no added sugar. If your main interest is digestive comfort, Probiotic Gummies are the option with ingredients most directly linked to that topic. If you are looking for an ingredient with research on metabolic parameters, the gummies with apple cider vinegar or green tea are the ones with the most published data.

There are, however, situations where you should speak to a healthcare professional first: pregnancy, breastfeeding, a diagnosed condition or taking medicines. Active Metabolism Gummies should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women or by anyone under 18, nor by anyone taking other products containing green tea on the same day. Anyone with liver disease should consult their doctor before using any product containing green tea. Probiotic Gummies carry a specific warning for people with immunodeficiency or receiving immunosuppressive treatment.

If you have persistent constipation, abdominal pain, blood in your stools or unexplained weight loss, supplements will not resolve that — seek medical assessment. And if your expectation is to see fast, visible results on the scales, it is worth adjusting: studies describe average effects in specific populations, not guaranteed individual results. For a broader perspective on what can be claimed, see Apple cider vinegar: myths and truths.

How to choose between the three gummies

Start with the simplest question: what do you want to support? If the answer is "digestion and intestinal comfort", the gummy with microbial cultures and digestive enzymes is the most aligned. If it is "appetite management and metabolic parameters", the gummy with apple cider vinegar also includes vitamins B6 and B12, folic acid and iodine; vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folic acid contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, and iodine contributes to normal thyroid hormone production and to normal energy-yielding metabolism 7. If it is "active metabolism", the gummy with green tea extract, garcinia, raspberry ketone and green tea seed is the one that brings together the most botanical ingredients.

Then think about your routine. All three are taken the same way — 2 gummies per day, preferably after a meal — but Active Metabolism Gummies have an explicit instruction not to be taken on an empty stomach. If you usually take supplements on an empty stomach, that is a practical criterion to consider.

Finally, check the warnings on each label before buying. All contain polyols and excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. If you are comparing formats, the article Green tea gummies or tablets: which should you choose? helps explain the differences. And if you want to understand how to fit apple cider vinegar into your day, see Apple cider vinegar: how to include it in your routine.

Limitations and what the label warns

None of these products replaces a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle — this is stated in the warnings on all labels. They should also not be seen as a solution for persistent symptoms: if something lasts for weeks, the next step is clinical assessment, not increasing the dose.

The specific warnings deserve careful reading. Probiotic Gummies state that people with immunodeficiency or receiving immunosuppressive treatment should consult their doctor before use. Appetite Control Gummies state that in case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, illness or taking medicines, a healthcare professional should be consulted. Active Metabolism Gummies are the most restrictive: they should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women or by anyone under 18, should not be taken on an empty stomach, should not be combined on the same day with other products containing green tea, and a daily amount equal to or above 800 mg EGCG should not be consumed, as stated on the label. Note that the evidence cited on this page points to a level of intake considered safe of 338 mg EGCG per day for tea preparations ingested as a solid bolus dose, which is lower than the label limit 6.

All three contain polyols (maltitol), so excessive consumption may have a laxative effect — relevant if you already have fast intestinal transit or a sensitivity to sweeteners. And there is a fundamental limitation: the studies cited on this page describe group averages in specific contexts, with doses that do not necessarily correspond to the label dose. To understand what the evidence does and does not allow to be claimed, the article Is green tea bad for you? What the evidence says and who should avoid it is a good starting point.

Frequently asked questions

Can I take all three gummies at the same time?

Each product has its own directions and warnings. If you are thinking of combining products, especially those containing green tea, speak to a healthcare professional — Active Metabolism Gummies should not be combined on the same day with other products containing green tea.

Which of these gummies is best for bloating?

Probiotic Gummies are the ones with ingredients most directly linked to the digestive topic, with a microbial culture complex and a digestive enzyme complex. Even so, no supplement guarantees an individual effect, and persistent bloating should be assessed by a healthcare professional.

Do the gummies contain sugar?

They are sweetened with maltitol, a polyol, and not with sugar. This means they contain polyols and that excessive consumption may have a laxative effect, as stated in the label warnings.

When should I take each gummy?

Probiotic Gummies and Appetite Control Gummies should be chewed preferably after a meal. Active Metabolism Gummies are also taken after a meal, but with an explicit instruction not to be taken on an empty stomach.

Can I take these gummies if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Active Metabolism Gummies should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women. In other cases, and whenever there is pregnancy, breastfeeding, illness or taking of medicines, you should consult a healthcare professional before use.
