At a glance: what sets these gummies apart
This collection brings together four individual gummies and two packs, all with 60 gummies per pack and a serving of 2 gummies per day. What separates them is the active ingredient and the dose per serving:
| Product | Actives per serving (2 gummies) | How to use |
|---|---|---|
| Appetite Control Gummies | 1,000 mg apple cider vinegar; 80 mg pomegranate juice powder; 80 mg beetroot juice powder; vitamin B6 (1 mg, 71% NRV), folic acid (400 µg, 200% NRV), vitamin B12 (2.4 µg, 96% NRV) and iodine (100 µg, 67% NRV) | 2 gummies per day, preferably after a meal |
| L-Carnitine Gummies | 2,500 mg L-carnitine | 2 gummies per day, preferably after a meal |
| Daily Detox Gummies | 300 mg artichoke leaf extract; 250 mg dandelion root extract; 200 mg birch leaf extract; 150 mg burdock root extract; vitamin C (40 mg, 50% NRV) | 2 gummies per day, preferably after a meal |
| Active Metabolism Gummies | 260 mg green tea extract; 250 mg garcinia; 250 mg raspberry ketone; 250 mg green tea seed | 2 gummies per day, after a meal; do not take on an empty stomach |
Active Metabolism Gummies are the only ones with their own label restrictions: they should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women or under-18s, nor on an empty stomach, and should not be combined on the same day with other products containing green tea.
What the research says
Apple cider vinegar. In a meta-analysis of 10 randomised trials with 789 adults with type 2 diabetes and/or excess weight, daily apple cider vinegar intake reduced body weight, BMI and waist circumference compared with control, with no significant effects on the other body composition parameters assessed 1. Another meta-analysis, with 25 trials and 1,320 adults, found improvements in fasting glucose, HbA1c and total cholesterol, but not in BMI; for triglycerides there was no overall effect, although subgroup analysis showed a significant reduction in diabetic patients 2. The trials frequently used 1,500 mg per day; Appetite Control Gummies provide 1,000 mg per 2-gummy serving — study doses are not dosing instructions.
Green tea. A meta-analysis of 59 trials with 3,802 participants found reductions in body mass, body fat percentage, BMI and markers of oxidative stress with green tea extract supplementation 3. In a 12-week trial in women with central obesity, 856.8 mg per day of EGCG reduced weight, BMI and waist circumference 4; this dose is much higher than that provided by Active Metabolism Gummies (260 mg green tea extract per 2-gummy serving).
Garcinia. In a meta-analysis of 8 trials with 530 participants, Garcinia cambogia supplementation reduced weight, BMI, body fat percentage and waist circumference 5. Active Metabolism Gummies provide 250 mg garcinia per 2-gummy serving.
Who these gummies may suit — and who they are not for
These gummies may make sense for adults who already follow a varied diet and an active lifestyle and are looking for a practical way to include ingredients such as apple cider vinegar, green tea, garcinia or L-carnitine in their daily routine. The gummy format, pectin-based, sugar-free and gelatine-free, is an alternative for anyone who finds capsules or tablets difficult to take. If you want to understand how each ingredient has been studied, start with the apple cider vinegar guide or the green tea guide.
They are not suitable as a substitute for a balanced diet or for medical treatment. Active Metabolism Gummies should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women or under-18s. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or are taking medication, talk to a healthcare professional before consuming. If you have liver disease, pay particular attention to products containing green tea and speak to your doctor. If your goal is sustainable weight loss, no gummy replaces a meal plan and regular physical activity.
How to choose between the four gummies
If your main interest is apple cider vinegar, Appetite Control Gummies are the direct option: 1,000 mg per serving, plus vitamins B6, B12, folic acid and iodine. If you are looking for L-carnitine, L-Carnitine Gummies provide 2,500 mg per serving. If your focus is green tea and garcinia, Active Metabolism Gummies combine four extracts, but come with the age and empty-stomach restrictions already mentioned. Daily Detox Gummies bring together artichoke, dandelion, birch and burdock extracts with vitamin C.
If you would prefer a ready-made set, the Active Metabolism Pack groups gummies from the range. Before deciding, read about each ingredient: garcinia, L-carnitine and the blog articles on apple cider vinegar and weight loss and green tea daily dose.
Limitations and label warnings
All the gummies in this collection contain polyols (maltitol), and excessive consumption may have a laxative effect. You should not exceed the recommended daily dose of 2 gummies. Keep packs out of reach of young children. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Active Metabolism Gummies carry additional warnings: they should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women or under-18s; they should not be taken on an empty stomach; and they should not be combined on the same day with other products containing green tea. The label also states that you should not consume a daily amount equal to or above 800 mg of EGCG. A systematic review of human toxicology and intervention studies identified the liver as the target organ and hepatotoxicity as the critical effect associated with concentrated, catechin-rich preparations, taken as a single high dose and on an empty stomach; the same review derived a safe intake level of 338 mg of EGCG per day for adults 6.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition — especially liver disease — or are taking medication, talk to a healthcare professional before consuming. To go deeper, see the article on green tea and who should avoid it.
Frequently asked questions
How many gummies should I take per day?
The directions on the label are 2 gummies per day, preferably after a meal, for all the gummies in this collection. You should not exceed the recommended daily dose. Active Metabolism Gummies should not be taken on an empty stomach.
Can I combine more than one product from this collection?
Active Metabolism Gummies should not be combined on the same day with other products containing green tea. For the other products, and especially if you take medication or have a health condition, talk to a healthcare professional before stacking supplements.
Do these gummies replace a diet or exercise?
No. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. The gummies are a complement, not a treatment or a stand-alone solution for weight loss.
Who should not take these gummies?
Active Metabolism Gummies should not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women or under-18s. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition or are taking medication, talk to a healthcare professional before consuming any product in this collection. All of them contain polyols, whose excessive consumption may have a laxative effect.
What is the difference between the four gummies?
Each has a different main active ingredient and dose per serving: apple cider vinegar (1,000 mg) in Appetite Control Gummies, L-carnitine (2,500 mg) in L-Carnitine Gummies, plant extracts and vitamin C in Daily Detox Gummies, and green tea with garcinia, raspberry ketone and green tea seed in Active Metabolism Gummies.
